There are days where I don’t believe in God. You can’t blame me for it though. If I were someone with the power to do so, I would create everyone equal. At least when it came to happiness. Children would wake up with a smile everyday, enjoy meals with their parents, play in the sun and have a decent education. Old people would live in their own homes with real family. Not cooped up in what is at best a prison, put by those who cannot be bothered to take care of them.
Heck if I were God, people wouldn’t get old. And kids wont have to live orphans.
But I’m not. And I cant. So I give back to the community as much as I can. Every couple of months a group of us from work visit the local institutions that take care of those less privileged than us. RANT ALERT!! – Who the hell comes up with this crap – Less Privileged, Differently-abled etc? Rather than sugar coating how life has been a bitch to them, we should spread awareness instead. Teach people to accept. And acceptance does not come when you start referring to people based on the number of limbs they have. RANT Over!
Anyways, this time around we visited the Bangalore chapter of Snehasadan Boys Home.
And I brought back a few pictures for you.
